I'm not sure which would be better for a person aspiring to work on wall street. I know that NYU econ would be worthwhile due to the college's close proximity to wall street & all the big firms.
But Ross business school at UMich is also very well reputed. Any insight?

Since you want to work on Wall Street:

NYU - Stern > UMich - Ross > NYU Econ (CAS) > UMich Econ (CAS).

Since you want to work on Wall Street:

UMich - Ross = NYU - Stern > UMich Econ + Math (LSA) = NYU Econ + Math (CAS)

I would say Ross + Mathematics. Double majoring is very common and would certainly give you a leg up on the competition.

In NYU Stern, many graduates already have a job before they graduate.

averby, that is the case at most good BBA programs.
