So I am doing the pre-admit for the Ross School of Business. However, I think its going to be a reach to get into the college. Should I focus my essay on the Ross School, or would that hurt my chances of getting into LSA? If I get accepted, I'm most likely have to spend a year at LSA before reapplying to the Ross School of Business.

So should I write about LSA, or the Ross School of Business for the supplement essay asking about why a certain college in UMich was appealing to me?

I don’t know if you’re still working on your essay, or if this might just be bumping an unnecessarily old post, either way.

My advice for any of those struggling on what to say if they know they want to go to a school, they just don’t know any specifics or why exactly they do, is to look at the schools website. It isn’t a secret schools enjoy boasting about their own unique characteristics on their websites, they’re advertising themselves! Just go there and look around, you’re sure to find some aspects of the school which none other has (those are the aspects they want you to see!). Cheers, and I am in the same boat as you, so good luck to you!

Since you are applying to Ross pre-admit, take a gander at this…
