Fall 2013's Supplement Question:

Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?

Does that mean you would only talk about the preferred admission school if you are applying to that? Or also the regular college as well?

I talked a little about the school in general and then mostly about the preferred admission school. I was accepted to LSA but rejected from preferred admission.

Alright, thanks for your answer :).

Anyone else have any opinions o.o

Talk about both. I applied to LSA and Ross pre-admit and got into both last year. If I remember correctly it’s 500 words, right? Assuming that’s true, I probably wrote about 200 words about LSA, 200 about ross, and then the rest I just talked about the university in general (campus, school spirit, etc.)

any of these are fine. If you are applying pref. admit though that is the essay that program cares about, so you want to dedicate some time to it.

magentaturtle where did you find the supplement prompt? I could not find it

Last year, I applied to LSA and pre-admit for Ross, but I dedicated that whole essay to Ross.
