UMich Transfer Chances Winter 2018

I’ve been looking for a forum on this topic, but I haven’t been able to find any where discussion is really happening, especially in comparison to past years.

I wanted to know my chances for getting into UMich for the Winter 2018 semester. I was going to apply there as a freshman, but decided not to last minute for personal reasons. I was in attendance when a college representative visited my high school, and I visited the campus once for a prospective ROTC event, because my cousin was a part of the UMich ROTC program.

I really regret not applying before, because they accepted over 20 applicants from my high school for the freshman year, with varying grades and ACT scores, including one Ross pre-admit. Here are my stats:

I was born in Michigan, but moved OOS when I was 8.

I am applying to LSA, with the intention of majoring in either International Studies or Political Science

High School Stats:
Top 25 high school in the state
Top 250 public high school in the nation
GPA: 4.19 weighted
ACT: 30 (31 E, 32 R, 33 S, 25 M)
EC: Band, where I played the tuba and trombone, and was a Section Leader as well as a Junior then Senior Representative on the Leadership Team
JV Wrestling and Football (I quit after receiving a concussion)
French Club, founding member
Future Problem Solvers, founding member and officer
Model UN
Math Team
Latin Club
Ping Pong Club
Church Involvement with Youth Group and Service

I also have received the Commendation of Bi-literacy in French

College Stats:
I am a first semester freshman at the University of Connecticut
GPA: None yet
Major: Business Management
EC: Business Connections Learning Community
Business Management Society
I do intend to rush a professional fraternity next semester and join Model UN at my next college
I have 2 rec letters from staff at my current university

I have legacy at UMich, about 6 family members have gone there, including my grandpa. Also, I’m also not sure if this will do anything, but my great-grandpa donated a bunch of Armenian literature to the school that he brought with him when he immigrated to the United States during the Armenian Genocide.
