Can any past or current UMich transfer students explain to me how your past college credit is placed at UMich? I know there is a place to check out the credit eqvis and what not, but for the most part are you able to retain most of your credit? Do you end up having to take a lot of gen-eds you may have already competed at your previous institution? Im quite familiar with what i need to complete for my degree, but i have yet to recieve my credit eval from them and am kinda scared they are gonna screw me over on a few classes...any insight would be appreciated.

I got an evaluation back awhile ago since I was accepted in February. I actually didn't lose a single credit, they just take the credit value that you took the course at the previous institution. Some of it kinda became general credit but it will still count toward the total amount for graduation. I'd imagine you'll hear somehwhat soon and it also appears on WA under unofficial transcript.

You can check here to see what transfers. You may be able to get credit for things not listed if you talk to an advisor. They can also count towards distribution, not just graduation.

Dilksy, you joined the fam!!!! I love you bro! (Now you guys have another math major to hassle).

Yeah, I'm probably going to be bored over the summer, and I like helping out people, so why not?
