UMICH Transfer Question

So, I want to attend UMich at the earliest time possible (and have as many credits as possible leftover when I’m there).

When they say “Has earned sophomore (30+ credits)” does this mean I enter UMich as a sophomore or a junior?

If it means I enter there as a sophomore, how will I be able to finish the engineering pre-reqs (Calc 2, 3, Diff. Equations, etc.)
