UMICH vs. CCS

Hello,

I'm a current freshman in the art program at U of M. I have strong interest to study graphic design and type. I came to U of M for its resources and reputation, but the art department has been a huge disappointment. Because of financial reasons, I can't really afford to transfer anywhere else out of state (I'm from Michigan). I recently applied to CCS and received tuition scholarship, and was wondering if anyone would have any knowledge on my decision. I would like to study design at CCS, but don't want to transfer if it's not going to be worth the hassle of transferring. Thanks,

I've heard great things about their industrial design program (esp. transportation design), but have little knowledge of their graphic design program. But I would rest assured that it's a generally reputable place.

I also heard a ton about the id program. the museum there is pretty nice, but the neighborhood is pretty not, it looks different than ann arbor. i really like the suburbs around that area though.
