i want some opinions from you guys (sorry if you've seen similar thread by me).. i just got accepted to these schools, while waitilsted at chicago and washu(which is meaningless actually). Personally, i like tufts in terms of its environment, campus, locatin, etc. etc, basicalyl the living aspect of it is great and to my preferences. However, its possibly the least prestigious out of the three, and definitely the least helpful in terms of assisting me to become an ibanker or work in the business field. I dont relaly ike cmu's campus, doenst look appealing, a bit too small, and pittsburgh is definitely not somehwere i mit wanna go, the weather, accoridng ot what i heard, isnt too good as well. And for umich (still waiting for Ross, and being considered for honors), i dont really like the fact that its so big, and if you aint careful, you might just become a miserable soul there or sth. And i guess in a sense i want more attention from faculty, where i think should be better at smaller schools. But both cmu and umich i would say are probably very good in terms of getting recruited with a good business school. Which one would you guys personally choose? care to shed some light??

Have you even been to Michigan or are you just listening to CC's distorded conventional wisdom?

I've never heard of a miserable soul at Michigan and the only one i've seen evidence of is NYao, so I think that's a bit off-base. Michigan is clearly the top b-school, followed pretty closely by CMU. It sounds like you've visited Tufts and CMU, so you should probably visit michigan too. Atmosphere is also really important. If you don't like CMU's, just don't go there. Visit Michigan and see how much you like its atmosphere.

Goto CMU if you want the most miserable social life.
