Pretty self explanatory, but feel free to add in other aspects other than for engineering

My son liked University of Michigan ok, it’s his number 3, but hated Carnegie Mellon after the tour. He is also looking at Mechanical engineering. At Univ. of Mich it is a 30 minute walk or busses come every 10min to go from the freshman dorm to engineering classes. Also the freshman dorms have no air and it was very hot when we were there in the fall.

Net price difference?

This is a very difficult choice because they are all good schools. I think you’ll have to choose based on factors such as weather, cost, proximity to your home, or availability of mass transportation to your home, and lay out of the campus.

Congratulations on your acceptances.

^^^You forgot a major consideration and very important factor FlyMeToTheMoon; the social aspect.

University of Michigan is extremely expensive out of state. CMU is also expensive and doesn’t give much aid. Georgia Tech might be the cheapest one on that list. You need to post the cost of attendance for all.
