UMich Vs. USC Vs. UVA

CAgirl, I would say that Michigan has more "breadth and depth" than USC. Academically, I would say Michigan is the strongest, followed closely by UVA and third would be USC. But all three are very respected, so one should decide based on fit when considering those three universities.

Damitssam, I lived all my life in the Middle East. Our high temps this week will be around 85 degrees. Our lows sometimes drop below 70, but its is not common. And that's in winter. In summer, our lows are in the 90s. That's our lows. Anyway, Michigan is cold, but not uncomfortable. A person should never make a huge decision based on the weather.

40's during the day are just fine for being outside. It does not have to be swimming weather to be comfortable. Nothing wrong with a crisp Fall day. That's why they have coats.
This is the most stupid reason I have seen for suggesting not going to UM.

I currently go to Michigan and I will say that academics are second to none. I know UVA is equally as good but i'd have to say Ross is better for business. USC is still a step behind UVa and Umich but still its a school to consider. As for Ann Arbor weather, its pretty awful. Lots of cold weather and snow. But the town itself is a very nice place.

is Ross really that much better than Mcintire?

Yes - Ross is like top 3 in the country
