<p>Hi guys...</p>

<p>Here is the latest and the greatest. I am positively out of my mind on some of these schools thinking I have a shot of getting in, but I figure I'd post it here anyway and see what the consensus is.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.5
Rank: No rank at school, however, I come from one of the most competitive schools in New Jersey, with 393 graduatiing seniors.
Honors/AP: 6 courses (A/B in all)</p>

<p>Senior classes:
Creative Writing
English
Pre-Calculus
Physics
Choir
Latin IV
I am also peer teaching a class in Public Speaking</p>

<p>My SAT composite is a 1980 (~1300 equivalent)</p>

<p>Essays are very good, reccomendations are very good.</p>

U-Pittsburgh Oakland (already found out I got accepted here :))

<p>and my number one is William and Mary, and I missed the ED deadline (I had an overnight visit there just days after and fell in love with it then!) so I had to apply RD... I know I don't ahve a chance in hell being out of state...</p>

<p>Hey! I LOVE W&M too, I applied ED, so it's only 2 more weeks left till they let us know. Anyways, I'd be very surprised if you aren't accepted in GMU and Elon. If you were in-state I'd be fairly sure about W&M as well, but the out of state will hurt you a bit. Still, you've got a ton of EC's which should help. We have the same SAT score (like, EXACTLY the same) so hopefully W&M won't hold that against either of us! I'd say just show W&M on you application how much you want to go there and how you can help the school be a better place. As for the other colleges, I know nothing about them, so I can't comment. Best of luck with the applications; hopefully I'll see you at WM next year!!</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply. My school is reaaaaaaaaaaaaally competitive and they typically don't accept people with my GPA so I'm really not expecting anything... but who knows! I pourd my heart and soul out on that application!!!!</p>

Elon=yes. maybe w/ money
W+M= no way at all. kids in VA with 3.5s cant get in.</p>
