@jenann I attend UM. Winter break starts the 16th.
maybe we’ll get ours this Friday then!
One can only hope!
Does U-M usually tweet out a decision date?
I could check if they did last year!
Update: They do not! Unless I missed them. I checked both Regular Decision and Early Action days.
Aww, dang it. I guess it’s just a waiting game then.
last year was december 16 @ 4 pm
which was the same as the year before
Fingers crossed for the same pattern this year^^
Does 31 on ACT seem dangerous?
What do you mean dangerous?
I had a 32 applying last year and got denied, I was also in-state
No a 31 is not dangerous. They don’t just look at test scores. Of course if you have a low gpa and limited extracurriculars then it would be. But based on act alone it’s not.
Hoping that they don’t make the December 16 deadline, as I’m taking a class at UMich and my final is that night HI hope I won’t have the added stress/distraction
((Sorry if this isn’t what this thread is for, I made my CC account literally 2 minutes ago))
@guitar321 You either don’t attend UM or you’re confusing the date of your last exam with Michigan’s winter break. My son is a Wolverine, and his last final exam is on December 20. The last day of exams is December 22. http://www2.bus.umich.edu/sites/default/files/files/AcadServices/UndergraduateAcademicCalendar2016-2017.pdf
FYI to @jenann
@brooklynilene He could be a Dual Enrollment student that has his final that day. @midwestern538
Does anyone the acceptance rate for early action?
@brooklynilene @midwestern538 the post said that they were taking one class at the university of Michigan and the calendar you linked said that finals are the 15th-22nd. The final for that one class could very well be on the 16th
My sister goes to U of M and she is already home and done with finals
Last year was Dec. 18th at 3 PM actually, for anyone wondering. It was the last friday before christmas. Undoubtedly there’s more applications this year but I really hope you guys will find out on the 16th.
