UMichigan Ann Arbor EA Class of 2021 Applicants

Hey guys, just to add one thing in case others missed it…
@UofMWolverine2020 posted something last night saying they “got in today”
A lot of people spoke about this post… But in case you missed it, there was a moderators note added to it this morning saying that they got in on this day last year.
Yes, I know, horrible wording, just thought I would let people know in case they missed it!
No decisions yet, fingers crossed for by Tuesday!

@whatsup99 did u get accepted into any of the other U of M campuses? If so, you will have to call the help line for them to give you your uniqname and password

No im not joking and i apologise if this is wrong. I just wanted to ask.

@littlelib2 Congrats on your daughter’s great achievement! It’s sounds like very unique and important, to me, there is no hurt to contact them both by email or call, ask them if they still want to see it. Good luck!

I saw in michigan admissions twitter… its that the result of medicine school has come out on 16th.

hey guys so when I log onto wolverine access, you click on students, new and prospective students, and then, when its ready, the decision will be present when you click on “application status” under “admission”. Am I correct? Thanks, good luck to everyone!

Yes…abzolutely correct
Now million dolar question…when result ll be out

If anyone heard that someone already got rejected, here’s the story because I spoke to the mother of a girl who was rejected. If you want to audition for the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, you have to first send an audition tape/file. Then you get invited to audition. If you are told you are not invited to audition - as my friend’s daughter was - then you’re rejected. But MTD is a totally different process than LSA, CoE, etc.

Yes yes…i saw one post that some bodys daughter rejected…might be as u said… ok. Then u seem to hv info… when ll be results out ???

Oh ok that makes a lot of sense!

@USUG21 based on this thread, most people think that Tuesday’s the day. Although the predicted release date is the 24th, admissions officers are people too and probably don’t want to spend their christmas eve updating decisions on Wolverine access. So, its definitely going to be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this coming week, with Tuesday being the most probable date according to CC people. For all we know, they could start releasing decisions on Monday on a rolling basis until the end of the day Wednesday or some other crazy possibility lol…

School counselor got email from admissions saying Tuesday but they don’t all come out on the same day

Just out of curiosity and to kill time, what are some of the colleges people applied to in Mich? I’m guessing the most popular choice is LSA, but idk lol?

@Doctorbellam LSA for econ. I plan to transfer into Ross because I couldn’t get together a portfolio for the preferred admission

@tigerman333 I heard Ross is getting rid of sophomore transfer into Ross next year and turning it all into preferred admission that you have to get into freshmen year u might want to check the website

@tigerman333 pretty interesting especially since Michigan is a top school for business, econ, etc… I’m also applying to LSA, but for neuroscience.

I applied to lsa under a bunch of biology interests

@Eeeee127 the class of 2021 is the last year that will be allowed to transfer to Ross as a sophomore. Starting with the class of 2022, it’ll be all preferred admission

@Doctorbellam LSA for computer science. Planning on transferring into engineering. I wouldn’t have a chance if I applied for engineering

@hotentoth @Eeeee127 Class of 2020 is the last class that can apply as sophomores. 2021 is preferred admission or external transfer only. Source: http://michiganross.umich.edu/programs/bba/faq
