<p>I submitted my application last Friday and have not heard back from the University of Michigan via email. Is this normal? When is it expected that I will get my UMID and be able to login to Wolverine Access and check my application status? </p>

<p>You submitted it on Friday. That leaves a weekend and national holiday prior to today. One business day after submitting is a little to quick to expect a response.</p>

<p>I would wait up til two weeks before contacting them. I’m sure they’re very busy right now.</p>
<p>It is not really the time you submitted matter. It is more the time they download your file. In the beginning of EA, they are downloading data once a week. Then it became more frequent towards the deadline. Allow at least a few days for them to process the record after downloading.</p>
<p>I suppose I’m worried if my ACT score didnt get paired with my app, etc. Logistical errors like that. If the App is in, and everything else can be proven to be in by the deadline, does it still count as on time if there are logistical/technical difficulties?</p>
<p>Yeah I’m kind of thinking too hard but it’s hard not to.</p>
<p>Don’t worry- UM definitely gives applicants the benefit of the doubt with regards to technical difficulties. My recs didn’t get in until the 13th of November, and I still qualified EA</p>
