Hey guys. First off, Congratulations to those who have an interview! And to those who don’t or are alternate listed- don’t sweat it! So I got accepted to this program last year as a regional applicant. My biggest advice would be to make sure not to focus on any one thing. ACTs are important, good grades are important, ECs are especially important. However, I have never seen a school truly pick a person who is well-rounded better than UMKC for this program. Honestly, you could be the biggest genius and not get in because what they look for is your potential to be a successful doctor, not necessarily how bright you are. It’s really fair game for anyone. Loosen up, prepare well, and hope for the best! And oh… make sure to KILL it at the interview You kind of got to sell yourself and give them a taste of what you stand for. If anyone wants any advice or help, feel free to ask!
