UMKC 6 year medical program 2017

6 year BS/MD program

@Roentgen I have read many of your responses. I am a junior currently and was wondering about what you go through to obtain an admission at UMKC 6 year med program. What is the timeline and steps u went through as a junior/senior? Also what are my chances?
CREDENTIALS
ACT-34
(Is there a big difference between a 34,35,36)
EXTRACURRICULAR-
Chess club
Captain of Badminton Team
Track and Field
Secretary of HOSA
StuCo
FBLA
Varsity Academic Team
WEIGHTED GPA-4.4
UNWEIGHTED GPA-4.0

it is a lot easier to get in if you live in Missouri. The whole goal of the program is to send doctors to all over Missouri and rural areas in surrounding states…so in your interview say how you want to help the underrepresented areas. Your credentials are fine but having some Volenteering work at a hospital or some medical related extra-curricular would help. Good luck!
