Is it any hard? I haven't programmed in Java since summer and I'm pretty rusty at it. Though I know a lot of other languages like C++, C#, ASP.net, SQL, HTML, ect.. but I haven't used Java much. I'm not taking the AP Class because of scheduling problems, but I'm wondering, is it possible for me to cram everything to be ready for the AP Exam? I feel like I'm able to do it, but I'm scared they are gonna force the AP test with tons of memorized classes/ w/e..

just look at the case study and chill.
It’s really easy.

I just checked that out, doesn’t seem that hard at all. But my question is the AP Exam, what are the multiple choice questions going to be asking? And what are the "FRQ"s.

Or should I just program the old fashion way lol

FRQs to me look like code walkthroughs.

And the MC according to their site says that it’s testing knowledge of java and the case study.

Yeah collegeboard sucked the fun out of comp sci. Just know your OOP principles and maybe practice a couple gridworld questions. Just about no algorithm design/analysis whatsoever.

They took out most data structures too, right?

Yup. No stacks, queues, trees, linked lists, hashes, or graphs. Just primitives, classes, and arrays.

Damn.

That’s a disgrace.

Yup. And I guess it’s still too hard: they are making a new, easier AP course: [CS Principles - Home](http://csprinciples.org/).

^shame they’re dumbing down.

To the OP: Don’t sweat it. If you’re really feeling uneasy, just buy a prep book and flip through it.

wow, they got rid of CS AB? The collegeboard really wants to make more money huh…
