Umm...yea...chance me, please

Hi, I know these are getting kinda stale but I'm pretty nervous. UChicago is my number one school and I just want an honest answer. I'm an Indian male, 16, in Chicago, IL.

ACT - 32 Composite, 35 English, 30 Math, 32 Reading, 30 Science
GPA - 3.5 UW, 4.7 W (now it's this, at the end of junior year it was 3.3 UW, 4.4 W)
I went to a highly competitive public high school for three years. It's the number one ranked public high school in my state. I was forced to transfer my senior year because we moved. I only moved about 20 minutes from my old place but I now live in another school district so I go to some random high school.
Have only taken Honors and APs.
APs - US History, European History, Chemistry, English Literature, all 4s
Current schedule - AP Language, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP Calc AB, PE, and elective

ECs
Tennis team Junior Varsity, JV Captain – 9th to 12th (Captain)
Ping Pong club – 10th and 11th (organized lunch, before school, and after school open games)
Volunteer at ICNA (Islamic Center of North America) – 10th (teacher’s assistant)
Volunteer at Public Library(Northtown Branch) – 10th (summer reading program)
Volunteer at Midwest Asian American Center – 5th to 8th (helped with adult education and citizenship process)
Amnesty International Club member – 12th
Amnesty International Club Public Relations Director – 12th (helped organize bake sale and build-a-box event)
Muslim club member – 9th to 11th
Muslim club Public Relations Director – 10th
AP Scholar

I think that covers it all. I already applied to UChicago RD. I did an interview and I think that went well. So, I would appreciate any comments and please try to be honest. Thanks in advance.

decent
/10char

what does /10 char mean. I’m a complete noob. Also, if there’s any other stats you might need, ask. I got an 11 on my ACT essay. Does that do anything?

1) theres a minimum 10 character requirement for every reply
2) your test scores and such are decent enough to not be overlooked, but what is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY important is your essay (s).

Ah, makes sense. As for my essays, I focused on them a lot to try and make up for my lowish grades, I have a good GPA now, but as I said, it used to be fairly low before. So, you think that if my essays are good enough to make an impression on them, I could have a solid chance?

definitely
i know people who got in with 27 ACT for writing a stellar essay

Thanks a lot, you kinda make me feel like I might have a shot. Personally, I think my essays were solid. Let’s hope the admissions officers think so too.

If UChicago is your top choice, why did you apply RD and not EA?

That was kind of a fail on my part. I didn’t know that UChicago had a non-binding early application program. I only found out about it a few days before the deadline and by then it was too late. Also, because I transferred, there was a lot of problems in trying to acquire transcripts and recommendations.

Herro, I have consulted the Hamza and the Muhammad. They thinking you have the good chance.

the conversation wenting like this
me: do you think he should remove uchicago from his app
muhammad: NAH! Keeb!
