So yeah let me know what you think.
I'm interested in applying ed for the health care management concentration at wharton.

Edit: I know that essays and recs are important and im working on my essays, but try to base your comments on the limited information above.

I think Penn only takes in parent/grandparent legacy, as illustrated by their supplement questions. Please correct me if I am wrong, though.

Everything else looks good, and honestly, it’s too hard to change your ECs/GPA now. Keep truckin’ through those essays/recs, and fingers crossed!

Penn definitely takes into account sibling “legacy”. There was an article about it in the Daily Pennsylvanian last semester. I know a lot of people who had/have one or more sibling go here.

I think on Penn’s app they only ask for parents/grandparents legacy…

Read this article. “Applying to Penn as a twin or as a student with an older sibling at the University provides some advantages comparable to the benefits that legacies receive, Dean of Admissions Eric Furda wrote in an e-mail.”
[Siblings get a boost in Penn admissions | The Daily Pennsylvanian](http://thedp.com/article/siblings-get-boost-penn-admissions)

DP reporting aside, the only way to get a legacy tag on your app is through a parent or grandparent who has received a penn degree. the boost to siblings is complicated and is tied to the fact that if parents can produce one ivy-caliber kid, they can probably produce another.

your app is up in the air. you haven’t disqualified yourself, but there’s nothing impressive enough for me to think that you are in. it could go either way, but i would expect it to get deferred to RD.

Can we all agree that cousins and uncles don’t get legacy benefits? I’m curious on this…how crazy does this legacy benefit extend to?
