does that mean in their hands by May 1st or postmarked

<p>I think they mean postmarked. Regardless, you could call them on Monday and check (even though I know that is cutting it close). I don't think that is going to keep you out, lol, but if you called them and said you were coming and that it was in the mail that would probably be enough for them!</p>
<p>I called and the office said POSTMARKED by May1.</p>
