1) i rushed my scores to stanford and some other colleges last night .... do i have to worry about them not getting there in time? or is there a possibility that some colleges will not accept rush reports?

2) my future plans section for the commonapp says that "future plans is incomplete" yet the whole application shows "completed" and the green arrow....which should i trust?

bumppppppppp

1) As long as you send the scores before Jan 1, rushed or not, you are fine.

2) I have no idea.

I’m sure they’ll accept the scores, I think they just want to know that you applied. I’m not sure about the future plans thing, maybe you should just complete it now.

@test101 thanks
@booberry123 i’ve completed it but the commonapp just says incomplete for some reason … =/

The future plans is on the first page that you fill out for a school before the common app starts. Often, a supplement app won’t open for you unless you fill out the future plans section. I guess you were able to fill in your supplement without filling in the future plans. It tells the schools what major you are applying to. You can email all of the schools that you sent the common app to to figure out what to do. Once the common app is submitted, it can’t be changed, so the data can’t be added.

I actually wasn’t worried until I saw this post. I sent in my scores on Dec. 29, without rushing it. I didn’t think that that was a problem. Don’t worry about if it will get there or not, there isn’t anything you could do about it. I think it was confusing when to send them. I plan on e-mailing the admissions office.

Also, future plans won’t be green until you submit the application entirely.

Psyched,

I talked to an admissions officer recently, and he said that the additional materials could arrive, without penalty, up until mid-January.

how will i know when ACT has sent my scores? i requested for the December scores to be sent before i took my test but im not sure if they have been or not
