Ok so it says I submitted my Common App and Yale Supplement at about 11:59. But I it says I paid on Jan 1. I cut it way too close and didn't have time to enter my credit card before it became Jan 1. Does this matter??

same here! I submitted mine December 31, 2005 11:57:31 PM according to the common app, and the supplements a minute or two later. I dont think it should matter (paying). As long as the app is submitted in time, thats all that counts.

Agree. ............................

damn it, I wasn't quick enough. freaking lag. I submitted like 20 seconds after. hopefully it won't matter too much

hey guys
i submitted the supplement in time but my commonapp was 30 seconds late(so on the commonapp web site, it says that I submitted on 1/1/2006)

Is this OK?
i'm kinda worried

me tooooo!!! now i'm really stressed.

i hope this is ok because they already took my money:(

they take your money but probably not your app :D
Sorry guys. Should've applied earlier!

I really sincerely doubt that they'll care! good luck!

thats gotta be painful guys...I applied ED princeton 9 seconds early (maybe that showed procrastination and got me rejected? Dunno!)

Hopefully it doesnt affect the app, but it might be a slight eyesore for the adcom to read 1/1/06 because they know it is "late".

OK they probably will take apps. remember, they're trying to get as many applicants as possible?

yeah but it's 30 seconds!!!!
oh man, hope i dont repeat this tomorrow

they throw away apps that are submitted after the deadline.....even seconds aferward; all of you can hope for autorejections!

JK

You guys should stop stressing and have some fun. Anyway, this happens every year, and like 50 threads popup for different colleges, and the colleges always accept apps after the new year begins.....although you guys all did it online, they say you can postmark the day the post office opens again
