UMN vs RIT?

I don’t know where to go for my Computer Science undergrad. RIT has a good coop program but UMN has higher rankings?

Rankings mean very little to nothing in CS. Neither college has a notable prestige effect. I’d prefer RIT for the co-op’s given that experience is far more important in the CS world.

Another consideration is location - if you plan to live in the Midwest after graduation, UMN becomes a better choice. Otherwise, RIT has the advantage.

The schools are different in other more general ways, so don’t shy away from looking at fit.
