Un impacted. Does it exist?

Since I live in the lovely state of California, almost every school is impacted. I just wanted to know if any schools ANYWHEREare non impacted. Does a school exist? I tried researching but all it gives me is impacted schools. Im just curious if any state is facing this problem.

As you can see from this link:
[CSU Campus Impaction Information | Student Academic Support | CSU](http://www.calstate.edu/SAS/impaction-campus-info.shtml)

there are several non-impacted CSUs that require just 2900 CSU Index (about 2.4 GPA and 1000/1600 SAT) and completion of the a-g coursework to gain entry. Most students who can’t meet that threshold probably aren’t ready for a 4 year college.

Sevral of the campuses listed as ‘impacted’, like Sac State require only nominally better qualifications for most majors. Others, like SDSU require stand out grades and test scores.

Also, each CA high school has a designated ‘local’ CSU that will take local students at a reduced threshold.

Tell us a bit more about your stats and what you are interested in studying and we’ll try to help direct you to a few campuses to consider.
