This may be something dumb, but I’m trying to click on the checkboxes to accept/decline financial aid for NYU. However, it won’t let me fill in the boxes. Can someone help me?
You can’t accept FA until it is finalized which isn’t until later in April. This is because many people haven’t filed their taxes yet so NYU is still calculating financial aid for some students.
It says on the page:
“Please be aware that any federal aid you have been awarded is estimated and is subject to change based on the 2016-2017 FAFSA results which must be filed by February 15th, 2016. At this time you are not able to accept or decline any financial aid online nor do you need to take any steps to apply for federal loans. When your financial aid award is finalized in late April, further instructions will be provided.”
So that means it will be available later this month.
