Do colleges care about schedule conflicts? I wanted to take, and was going to take AP Bio my junior year but could not because of a schedule conflict and had to take Zoology instead. Can I present this information to colleges, and would they even care?

yeah. i had the same problem over and over again because if school budget cuts. my college counselor told me to put it in the extra information section of the application.

they’ll take it into consideration. is it because of school budget cuts or was it just conflicting schedules?

It was only conflicting schedules. The conflict was with my journalism class. We make a literary/art magazine every year, so it’s kind of like newspaper, and I am an editor, so I couldn’t (and did not want to) drop the class.

See if you can get your counselor to explain that, and if it’s really getting to you consider explaining the situation in the additional info section of your common app

Yeah same here…anyway I think its ok, your concelsor should understand and tell yoru college
