Should I send a letter to all of the universities that i applied to telling them that I was unable to take this test that i listed as planned on my application? I did not take this course at my school (because both the course and the test were not offered), but I've already taken a transferable version of this course at a community college.

I ran out of time to sign up for it since the satellite program in which i'm enrolled in always receives information from the high school late. By the time I found out that the high school did not offer the test and that I could register for the test at another high school, I was nearly out of time. The fact that collegeboard gave me outdated ap coordinator numbers did not help much either. I would greatly appreciate it if somebody knows a school near the bay area (California) that offers this test and is still willing to accept test fees.

Talk to your GC about this situation. That's what GCs are for! They should know which schools near yours are offering this exam & still accepting fees. They should also know whether you need to write a letter to colleges giving them an update (tho I would doubt that you'd need to, since AP exams are only to help you get credit toward college).

My satellite program does not have a guidance counselor. However, I've posted a "wanted" thread in the AP section of this forum. Hopefully some schools have yet to turn in their fees.
