How do these look? Particularly a high math, but lower verbal / writing.

how low exactly?

i know this guy got in engineering w/ 800/600

depends on what school.. for engineering if you have 800 in math, they just want you to be over 600s in verbal(might have changed since my cousin went there.. he said a lot of his engineering friends had high math(780-800) and lower verbal(600-650). but the higher the better).

i have the same problem too. what would be 'average' for architecture?

I have the opposite, 800 verbal 770 writing 680 math. 120 points is a fairly large discrepancy I would think.

a large discrepancy doesn't mean anything, so if a person had 800 math, 700 verbal (1500), would the adcoms think down on them b/c their range was 100 points, i personally don't think so, that would be like saying a person that got 700/700 has a better chance than a person that got 800/680, doesn't make any sense
