Hey guys,

The situation: looked at my Oct subject test results today and I was so surprised: I got 650 on the Chemistry exam!

Even before I started practicing for the test, I could easily get in to the 700s. I was pretty confident I would get 750+, if not 800. Now that's pretty far off from 650.

Chemistry is like my favorite subject, I always get 7s (=A I suppose) on tests.

What can I do? Of course I could redo it in December, but I'm registered for SAT1..

I thought I got an 800 on mine when I took it in May and I got a 750 As for what you should do, I don’t know what to tell you. I’m assuming you’re a senior and the last time you can take an SAT test is December? It depends on what your SAT I score was and where you plan on applying to…

Don’t stress too much about it. I had 700+ on all the practice tests but I got a 650 on the test in October. Colleges don’t put as much weight on SAT IIs as they do on GPA and SAT scores.
(I assume you’re in IB Chem? I get 7’s (maybe a 6 once in a while) on my tests too )
