Does anyone know when the deadline is to enroll?
@mukigachar may 15
@unctransfer17 Lol I haven’t received anything yet.
Ok as long as other people are in the same boat we should be fine
I don’t know when housing applications are due or anything but if anyone wants to make a group me or talk through the Facebook group about roommates and stuff that’d be great! I just want to get everything out of the way before finals week.
@isuncforme493 there’s a Facebook group but there aren’t a lot of people in it yet
Why do I feel even more stressed out now that I am accepted.
I just don’t understand why it says I am not authorized to go on to my Connect Carolina now.
for those who have their unc email addresses, how long did it take to receive the confirmation?
couple hours
i dont see anything for financial aid or my awards letter. is this normal? do i have to accept first?
@Hollow93: financial aid package has not been showed yet.
@ScQuan I see, do you have any idea when it will be posted?
You can hope they will turn out financial aid package in next few days, maybe tomorrow.
Below is a great link with a lot of information for transfer students. http://admissions.unc.edu/admissions-blog/
shout out to you. That is a great link
I distinctly remember someone saying like a week or two ago that it was too early to be looking or planning for classes in the Fall. That we would have plenty of time for that. The link below says other wise if you want to have a pick of the best courses and schedule.

When should I register for classes?
As soon as possible. The Advising Office has some great information for new transfer students here. Soon after enrolling, you can make an appointment online to speak with an academic advisor in person or by phone or Skype. It’s best to register for classes as soon as you can, so that you’ll have the best selection of courses available. Within the next few days, you’ll receive more information by email from the Academic Advising Office about how to get started.
We can register on April 13th.
My daughter was waitlisted as a transfer for 2017. Was just curious if applying for financial aid would have anything to do with that decision as she had a 3.7 from a top college and a 4.2 hs gpa. Curious as to how many out of state accepted students applied for financial aid…
@mtq111: I got accepted as sophomore. I have 4.0 at Greenville Community College. I also got a GED diploma. I applied for financial aid in Feb. My dad is widowed, his income below $20,000. My income about $7,000. I’m SC resident. Therefore, I’m sure that low-income student have an advantage not disadvantage when applying to UNC Chapel Hill.
