@yoshimax Is it listed as 2017 or 2018?
Mine still says “in progress” but lets me click into the “2018” section under “Need calculation summary”. But no aid is listed??? Which is odd because I’m fairly sure I would get at least something.
@MuffinCups 2018. I think your aid just hasn’t been posted yet if it says it’s still in progress.
Lol, yup. It’s no longer clickable and back to being “in progress”. Guess it was just messed up.
On my financial aid tab it doesn’t even have any years listed… is this because I haven’t submitted a deposit yet? I need my financial aid to make a decision though
UNC suggest that you enroll in as many classes as you can before you meet with a advisor. If you wait until after you meet with your advisor you will probably not get into the classes you want at the times you want. Registration for classes starts on Thursday. You will have to find your major’s required courses and build a schedule on your own. Then meet with an advisor and fine tune your schedule.
I don’t think there is anything we can do to speed up or delay receiving our transfer credit report or financial aid report, IT does not matter if you paid your enrollment fee or deferred it. They are processing everything at a pace unknown to us. The thing I do know is you can not register for classes until you pay or defer your enrollment fee. So those who are waiting for transfer reports and FA to make a decision will be behind the pack.
I got my aid package! I’m def in the Carolina covenant because I got full aid with grants and work study!
There are several UNC sites that say it will take 2 days to a week to receive transfer credit reports and financial aid awards. They also say if you have not received it in two weeks to give them a call.
The website says that transfer credit reports will be released by may 1st
@KendraScholar : Are you in-state student? I’m OOS, so I hope that covenant will help me.
wow, thats quite a stretch with registration coming up soon
@ScQuan I’m in state but I believe out of state applicants who qualify get it too. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Are the registration times EST?
Anybody not accepted your offer but received financial aid?
i’m still waiting on mine, how are your financial aid packages looking?
The FA package weights so much. I have to send some documents to FA office, so my FA package will not show up soon. I also want to know how the FA package looks like?
OOS, get full grant 50K
@jay12354: That’s great. There is nothing better. Any loan or work-study?
I got mine before accepting my offer. Mine isn’t great but I didn’t expect much aid. I’m in state and got work study for $2700, a $423 grant, and $4200 in loans. Considering that NYU costs like $70k a year though, this is manageable.
