Decision: Waitlisted

Applied as Sophomore or Junior: Sophomore
School transferring from: Public school in FL
Major: Chemistry (BS)
College GPA: 4.0 (30 credits)
High School GPA: UW: ~3.5
SAT/ACT scores: 33 ACT

I’m not confident in getting an acceptance off of the waitlist, so I’ll consider this a rejection for now and look towards the other schools for now.

Confused that I was denied and not even waitlisted.
In state student from community college.

Decision received today: Accepted

Applied to: LSA as a rising Sophomore transfer, submitted on 1/15
Current College: Top 50 university
College GPA: 4.0, taking 2 graduate school courses
Midyear GPA: 4.0
14 credits last semester, taking 16 now.
Had lots of AP credit.
EC: club sports, lots of volunteer work,

HS GPA: 4.0 at a top 10 boarding school in the country
8 APs with scores ranging from 3-5
ACT: 35 with writing
*also, applied last year but was deferred then rejected

Decision: Waitlisted

Current School: The University of Florida, freshman student with one semester under her belt and wrapping up another

GPA (after one semester): 3.91
High School GPA: 3.8/28 ACT, Denied from Carolina senior year

Accepted my waiting list offer, and SO GRATEFUL that they did not give up on me!! Remaining in hope, thank God!!

Going to finish strong and submit my final grades after the semester and hope for the best. Good luck everyone, and no matter what it will all work out. Go Heels!!

OMG! I got in!!! I’m soooo freaking happy! I was rejected previously by u Michigan and m ready to be rejected this time as well! Omg, it’s such a surprise! I was in gaint when decision came up and was like freaking out! Congrats to those who got in!

I got waitlisted as well, I wanted to attend UNC for years. I reapplied again with better GPA, ECs, Essays. This is a very disappointing moment for me. :frowning:

For those who were accepted, did you pay the enrollment deposit, or are you doing the option to wait until financial aid packages come in?

Wait-listed: Currently attending a top 40 university
Honestly quite a shocker. I was expecting a flat out rejection.
HS GPA: 3.76
College. 3.4 (Had a family issue that impacted my grades during first semester of college)
ACT: 33
2 high school recommendation letter.

@HSstudentNC I’m waiting. As an out of state students my financial aid package is vital to my being able to attend

Accepted for Computer Science. My stats: junior transfer from Clemson
College: 3.69 (33 credits at current college) and 4.0 with 55 credits from dual enrollment and some college from a local, small university
Hs: 3.98 UW
SAT/ACT: Didn’t submit
1 recommendation letter
ECs: Internship, Research, Video tech at local church, IT for a local school
Essays: I had 2 really good essays and 1 okay essay about how transportation needs to improve
FWIW: In-state applicant

I really was ready for a rejection since I applied Feb. 19 (last day on extension). Now I have to decide between NCSU and UNC for computer science.
