Yes, I had been in communication with the admissions office after meeting with them in September and again in March. They had mentioned continuing checking the portal around this time.

@nduclaunc So, they don’t notice you check ConnectCarolina, you just have to check frequently right? Also, did you submit your final grade for this semester as well as the love letter before the decision is made?
A little confused at your question @UNCISMYDREAM , however no, I did not get an email notification and the only thing I submitted additionally after being waitlisted was my transcript, which reached them probably 2-3 weeks ago.
@nduclaunc Oh okay, got it. I was asking did you submit anything other than final grades. Your school ends pretty early. I just got all my final grades (4.0) today, will submit my final transcript today, hope they can they can look at these grades before a final decision is made:/

One of my twins got an email denial tonight, previously waitlisted. His brother took his name off the waitlist last month. Their friend, same HS, AP and Honors classes for all three, also denied. All OOS.
I just checked and my daughter was declined tonight. She had already decided to stay at her current school so she is not upset. Good luck to everyone else.
I believe UNC does not have any space for the candidates on the waiting list. I guess I will work hard two more years, then fight for UNC grad school in the future.
