Hi! I’m a senior in hs right now in NC and I have heard back from all of the colleges I applied to. Right now I’m thinking about UNC Asheville. I’m probably going to major in business so not sure about the business program there. I love the area around UNC Asheville because I mean it’s AWESOME! I love the outdoors. slightly more liberal, but also involved in my church. I would really like to hear from alumni or current students or anyone that knows anything about UNC Asheville and their experience and jobs afterwards or what they have heard about it, it would be so helpful! Thanks!
I love the city of Asheville, and the campus looks pretty nice tucked up in the mountains with access to the city. Other than that, I don’t know much about the University or business program, but I hope you get some advice here and congrats on your acceptance. Definitely go to the admitted student day, that’s a great way to learn more before you commit.
Thank you! I definitely will!
If you like the NC mountains you should look at App too. It is bigger and very popular. UNC-A is always ranked for a private school feel for a public value. I hope you hear from people who know more, I wanted my daughter to look at UNC-A but she is too cold natured.
If you love outdoors stuff a lot, you should give Western Carolina a look. I don’t know much about there business program but WCU usually comes second to App and UNCA in most areas. I would assume that UNCA has a pretty good business program considering it’s in Asheville NC. UNC Charlotte is very close to the mountains and it has a very good business program because of it being in Charlotte.
