UNC-CH, UT Austin, American, UChicago, GW, Oberlin

I’m a junior who is all over the place with schools I want to go to. These (in subject bar) are some of the ones I’m most curious about if I would get in or not.

Unweighted GPA: 3.85
Weighted: 4.85
I took AP art history (5) last year, am in 3 APs this year, and will have 4 APs senior year

SAT scores (only one trial, plan on retaking): 1370/1600, 2020/2400
Haven’t gotten ACT or SAT II scores back yet

Class rank: 41/330 (that’s top 13% of a very competitive class)

I hold two club secretary positions, and will hold two additional leadership positions in two more clubs next year
I am in two honors societies, and am applying for National Honors Society

I want to major in International Studies or International Relations, with Film and Spanish as big concentrations
I don’t have much community service right now, but I am working on that.

I run cross country, do plays and musicals, orchestra, dance, am in an acappella group
Was nominated for Governors school 2x

I’m trying to figure out ways I can stand out further. Help me out!

What state do you live in? UT Austin automatically accepts the top 7% of a graduating class in any high school in Texas-- but that doesn’t mean you get into your selected major.

I’m from NC

Anybody?

What major are you looking at?
I’m thinking UChicago is a reach but for UT Austin you may have a decent shot depending on your major. You should try the SAT again to get it to 1450+/1600
