UNC Chapel Hill Colonel Robinson Scholarship?

I was recently selected for the colonel robinson merit based scholarship at UNC Chapel Hill as an Out of State student. The email I received said that I would be awarded the “equivalent of tuition, fees, room and board.” Does this mean that I will get a scholarship in the amount that it charges a north carolina resident to attend the school or did I get a full ride?

Also, for anyone that has received the scholarship could you tell me your thoughts on it and being a part of Carolina Honors in general?

Thanks!

Full ride! Oddly enough, OOS students get a better deal on these merit scholarships than IS. IS get a cash amount basically equivalent to IS full tuition (not room & board).

UNC has an explanation, but it is nonsensical. Anyhow, congratulations!
