Nerves on nerves on nerves…

@soccergirl24- Sure you are worrying for nothing and you will get in. Is Chapel Hill your only application or did you apply elsewhere?

Received email at 7:12. Looks like they may be coming out in waves. Good luck to everyone!

@mich5225 I applied to College of Charleston and Appalachian and have been accepted to both. College of Charleston and Carolina are definitely my top picks though! Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Any chance UNC will take mercy on us and release decisions tomorrow? I know it’s always traditionally on Friday, but two of the schools I’ve applied to this year also broke tradition this year by releasing decisions on an unexpected day. Seems the Common App issues have messed with quite a bit…it’s a long shot but at this point I’m desperate for hope.

So although the emails regarding how to physically see your decision have been sent out, when exactly will those decisions be posted, if anyone knows by chance?

@novafan1225, I doubt it… I think Carolina will stick to tradition. But it’d be awesome if they would release tomorrow!
@severage, Thanks for posting the email!
I guess I was just worrying for nothing.

I doubt they’ll release tomorrow… I want to know, but then again, my school is small and all the kids who applied to Carolina have the same classes all day. I don’t wanna sit through all four of my classes Friday talking/crying about who did/didn’t get in.

@annazee13 I’m in the same boat as you!
Two of my closest friends are early action with me, so I don’t want to discuss it with them in case one of us don’t get it.

has anyone received any scholarship day invitations yet? I know that last year some people received these invitations before admission decisions were released but that meant that they had been accepted.

@eagles14 I know in the past they sent invitations before decisions were released, but I asked that question on their admissions blog in the comments and they said they’ll be sent out soon after decisions are posted

Keep in mind, the weather is bad, they’ve been cancelling some classes today and tomorrow - so admission workers may not be making in into the office. Might delay things.

@Matrixsurgeon
Hi again! Nice to see a familiar face hehehe.

Just for reference I’m from Florida and got my “how to check your decision” email at 6:59 PM

I know someone said earlier that in the past emails were not all released at once, but does anyone know if this actually correlates with the results of decisions? I’m probably just thinking too far into this but I was just wondering!

@DarkUCF
Hey there again! I guess the other thread died down but that is expected. Might pick up again around decision time who knows!

Haha, just forgot that my school system has Saturday school this week. Awesome. Rejection tears will inevitably be shed on Saturday in front of my whole class.

@matrixsurgeon

With only one CCer competing? I don’t think so. Kinda weird that there’s only one, but I guess that’s to be expected when there are only 50 total.

@annazee13 My S’s school system also has Saturday school this week. The thought of finding out at Saturday school is appalling. Hopefully you’ll know early Friday evening. Good luck to everyone on CC on EA at UNC. MY S loved the school but we didn’t apply because there’s no college of engineering. He was accepted EA1 to NC State. He is in-state and has many friends apply to UNC who are waiting anxiously to hear. Again, great school and good luck :)>-

Best of luck to all of you tomorrow! I’m so sad to be leaving warm Miami for NC, but I’m ready to get decision day over with. Hopefully we’ll get good news!

@DarkUCF
You do make a logical point there! There were only like 2 out of at-least 25 people…
