<p>According to an article on Yahoo, 2,700 UNC-CH applicants on the wait list were accidently informed that they were accepted.</p>

<p>The fact that it said "Congrats again" with no prior acceptance should let people KNOW they weren't in. And it was only 2 days after the deadline.</p>

<p>oh, that's horrible. pratt did something similar (sent a financial aid letter to everyone that also said they had been accepted), and it really shook me up (even though i never got the letter, just a phone call and an e-mail explaining the mistake...)</p>

<p>lol i got the apology letters, two of them, and searched my inbox for the accepted one ... nvr found it haha</p>
