UNC Chapel Hill Regular Decision Notification Date 2010

BIG envelope from UNC for S! And if I tap the contents all the way down to the top of the envelope…“It gives me great pleasure to offer you admission…”

YAY! He will be a happy boy!

Good luck to everybody.

FYI - OOS; Ohio

does this include transfer students too?
my application status changed too if that makes a difference.
thanks

My guess is that they went ahead and sent out letters early, although I’m not sure why they would wait to post the online decisions if they’ve already made all the decisions. I’m overseas, so I’ll probably have found out online before the letter reaches here.
My application status has also changed to “Thank you for submitting your application. Your decision is not yet available.” Does anyone have an idea as to what time on the 20th they’ll post the decisions?

In NC, received acceptance letter today!!! Portal still says

“Thank you for submitting your application. Your decision is not yet available.”

just got an email that says:

I got the email too, just now. SO nervous.

me too. minutes after i wrote that i got the email

No letter today in Illinois. Funny, when we check the portal, the letter from the earlier decision date is posted there, which was the deferral. We do not have the “Awaiting final decision” message.

YAY! Got in OOS. I doubt I will go there though because I got into Wash U and I’m interested in engineering, which unc doesn’t really have.

oh just an FYI…i got the acceptance in the mail today but my portal still says that my decision isn’t available. maybe that bit of info will be of some use. :-P

So they don’t send any decisions via email?
