- UMich was in the National Basketball Championship two years ago. Lost to Villanova. And they were also in the Frozen Four. This year, UMich lost to Texas Tech in the Sweet Sixteen. UNC lost in the Sweet Sixteen.
- The depth and breadth of UMich’s athletic program dwarfs UNC’s. And this isn’t a new development.

And got trounced 41-15 by Florida, for their third straight bowl loss. Just another one of their 26 bowl game losses. No school in the nation has lost more bowl games than Michigan.

Michigan hasn’t qualified for the College World Series (CWS) since 1984. Since then, UNC appeared in the CWS in 1989, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2018.

UNC won the National Championship in 2017, also in 2009, 2005, 1993, 1982 and 1957. That’s more national championships than anybody except UCLA and Kentucky. In the 21st century, UNC has won more national titles than UCLA, Kentucky and Michigan combined.
