well thanks in advance i havent taken any tests like the SAT but i plan to at the end of this year or next year i just wanted to know what my chances were

You need to have quite a few extracurriculars

yeah i know you have to do alot of extracurriculars, and NJROTC will help with that with all the community service i have to do.

first of all, it is way too early to be asking about your chances. Noone here can give you even an educated guess based on 1 year. But to have an idea, since you are instate, UNC will not be that tough for you to get in. It’s standards for instate students are ridiculously easier than they are for out of state students. You could probably get into UNC with a 3.5 or higher unweighted gpa and a 1300+ SAT. That is, if you stay in NC. If you end up moving, you’ll need a 3.75+ and well over a 1400 SAT score. But Duke is a better school (especially for business), maybe you should look at it as well.
