UNC Charlotte. Chances?

Hello! I'm currently a student at Community College.
I want to transfer out by August of next year to a school in Charlotte, preferably UNC Charlotte.

Would you mind telling me what my chances might be? Please be honest!

Here are my stats:

3.0 Unweighted GPA
1880 SAT (first & only time taken)
26 ACT
AP English 5
AP Psychology 3

Applying for financial aid
Low Income family

I see my chances are quite dire, if no one can take a few seconds to respond. :(

JC, if you’re a NC resident you have a good chance. If you have been in CC for 18+ months, only how you are doing in CC maters.

No, I’ve been in CC only 2 semesters.

I think you will get in based on your grades and SATs. My daughter was recently accepted, we’ve been researching it, and I believe your chances are very good.

Thank you.
3.0 is my high school GPA
My college GPA is 2.6
so I’m very worried. :(

Does this mean I should apply somewhere else?

How do you have a 1880 SAT score with a bad college GPA? Is there something your not telling us?

That for admission purpose is not good. What program are you going into? UNCC just accepts students with their eyes closed (except engineering and medical programs)

You should be able to get in, work on raising your GPA a bit more.
