Good morning all, my DD just applied to UNC Charlotte in late August. Excited to meet those with kids interested in Charlotte. I also have a DD24 that attends UNCC and it has been a great experience.

Hi, my son will apply soon! We toured the campus and really liked it.We are applying for their engineering program. Just curious on the majors your kids are taking/applying .

My oldest DD is majoring in Health Systems Management and a minor in Public Health. My youngest DD is planning to major in Exercise Science, she want’s to eventually be a cardiac rehab specialists.

Yes a couple of my dd’s friends received acceptance emails. They had just applied within the last 2-3 weeks. A little disappointed because my dd applied early August. We’re hanging in there.

DS accepted 11/1 (Applied 8/26). In State, Communications.

DD also communications. Applied 10/11, accepted 11/2. We were all shocked at a response this early.

congrats! We are waiting patiently. When my DD20 applied in 2020 UNCC was her last acceptance she received and she received it in January. So we’re not giving up hope:)
It’s her first choice so she’s ready.

My son applied 10/28. I thought decisions came out in Jan? Seems like UNCC is still doing rolling admissions decisions? No news but he was sent a link for the honors program application.

Yeah it was weird. NCSU and Chapel Hill are hard core end of Jan notices. Others not so much. My son a few years ago heard from a few schools early. Was surprised Charlotte did. Maybe varies by major?

My DD applied middle of August for exercise science. She has 4 friends who applied in October who have received decisions. We went through this with my DD20 as well, she didn’t receive her acceptance from UNCC until late January. I was hoping this would be different since this is her first choice school.

We applied mid Sep and waiting. My son’s friends heard back and they all applied for computer science. My son applied for engineering.

Wow! My son applied last week of October. We are waiting too. Took a little over a month for my DD23 to be accepted. I am hoping to get some news by early December.
Have you checked the portal to make sure all documents were received and such?

Yes, everything has been received. One thing is for sure, she’ll receive a decision by January 30th
