Accepted! 4.7 GPA and 1175 SAT. Yes, my SAT was low, but I had strong essays and lots of extracurriculars. So if you’re reading this a year from now and are worried about your test scores, remember that they look at other factors as well!!
Does anyone know deferral rates? How many are deferred and of those who are, how many get accepted?
Does anyone know if decisions about assured acceptance for the School of Education are up also? And Honors College?
For those of you accepted, if your box has business administration as your major, does that mean you are preapproved for the b school? Not sure how it works at UNC. Thanks!
I got in 34 act, 4.67 gpa, IS. I happen to be at a swim meet for the biggest school district for nc. Lots of happy faces but also a lot of sad ones.

Was any OOS person here nominated by admissions for the morehead cain scholarship? I was really surprised to have been nominated several weeks ago cuz my stats aren’t great, but I guess that was a foreshadowing for my acceptance. If you were nominated, are you still in the selection process? I got denied the scholarship lol but that was totally expected.
Rejected OOS but was expected! If your in the same situation don’t be upset, it’s really difficult as an OOS student to get admitted so don’t underestimate yourself. I’ve already decided to apply next year as a transfer and I’ll be working towards that this year! Hopefully we’ll all be in a happy place wherever we end up going to college!
My son was accepted OOS, with 36 ACT and 4.0UW. Very pleased!

My D is a freshman OOS Robertson. She loves UNC. Congrats to the new Tar Heels. No school is perfect so if it didn’t go your way today, know that something else is just around the corner.

Has anyone received an email from UNC stating that as of 12pm today their decision was still under review and would not be available until Jan. 30th the earliest? Kinda in limbo here, not sure what to make of that.
