So what does it mean when it says Business Administration on my acceptance level? That was my first choice.
my OOS kid was deferred and he feels lucky to have gotten that!
@collegeliz17 Amazing!!
Rejected OOS
@amin1999 Wow those were great articles, thank you for sharing!
ACCEPTED OOS!!
31 ACT, 3.4uw and 3.8w, 6 APs, really strong ec and essays!! Super excited to get into my dream school, and proves that they don’t just look at the numbers!
Congratulations to everyone accepted!!!
I was accepted in state with a 29 ACT, 4.75 weighted GPA, 3.96 unweighted GPA, 8 APs by graduation and I’m so delighted!!!
accepted international in comp sci 1510/1600
Deferred OOS!!! 27 ACT with 28 superscore…3.34UW and 3.9 weighted!!! Good essays and good EC’s too!!! Congrats to everyone!
What are my chances of getting in if I was deferred?
I was deferred OOS… I sent in a 31 ACT (but it increased to a 32 after), rank #2 in my school, tons of strong ECs including a prestigious research mentorship, 10+ APs, and pretty strong essays. I applied to many ivies and top schools for RD. Does this mean I pretty much have no shot at getting into those?
Denied OOS, 35 ACT, 4.2 GPA, really good essays and strong EC, sucks that it had to be my #1
Anyone know anything about covenant scholars?
@hopelessopus12, earlier somebody had said that they got deferred, but had made it into Princeton EA. So no, that doesn’t mean you won’t make it into any ivy. The selection process is a real crapshoot. Have a safety picked out if all else fails, but hope for the best!
@Surya524 It is for low-income students
Accepted OOS 36 ACT 4.0 UW GPA, looking forward to hearing back from Excel@Carolina!
Accepted IS, 1540/1600 SAT, 4.0 UW GPA, 10 APs with 5s on all exams, ECs focused on music and math.
Daughter was deferred OOS (legacy). 32 ACT, 3.7 UW. Expected to be denied, so she’s happy. Congrats to those accepted!
My daughter was rejected OOS (MA). 35 ACT (no superscoring), 3.8uw and 4.5w, 7 APs, strong ec and essays. Accepted at 7 of her 9 EA schools with significant merit$ so we’re happy about that.
