oh, and I’m applying for BA CS
I need some help. I can log in to connectcarolina but where do I see if my file is complete?
Good luck to everyone. My oldest daughter was in the class of 2006. She was admitted OOS from Florida. My youngest daughter just applied but we are not in state. My daughter LOVED every minute at UNC!
@MayBIvyMomma on the right side, there is a To Do list.
@anxiouswreck - Last year the application deadline was extended a week for those who were affected by hurricane Matthew. Decisions came out as advertised, by the end of January. Do not expect decisions to come out much before then, otherwise you will be more anxious!. Last year EA decisions were released on 1/27. In recent years, it has been on or about the last Friday of the month.
Hey guys!! I applied to UNC EA! I also applied to Boston University, Cornell, And University of Connecticut!
@Taylorwicks How can you apply to both Cornell and Boston University (they are both Early Decision), that’s against the rules?
Hello. I just heard about UNC calling the guidance counselor of a student at my son’s school to inquire about her first quarter grades. Has anyone else heard of this happening? I thought UNC only inquired about SEMESTER grades if applicant is deferred.
My3sonshines, I have not heard that. My son just called them yesterday to find out if he could add his 1st quarter grades to his application and they told him no> They said they only look at mid-semester grades and only once you are accepted or if you are deferred…
Percussionboymo- what your son was told is exactly what I would expect. I’m puzzled by the request of quarter grades for this other student.
Hey! I’m an IS applicant going into Physics! Also applied to WUSTL, State, UNCC, and Liberty. Excited to be a part of this application process! I am feeling nervous, as my grades are at the low end of average for in state, but my application and recs are pretty stellar… so we will see!
