Is there a unc chapel-hill 2022 group chat?
My D got her Honors Carolina in the mail about a week ago and her Carolina Scholar and Journalism School on Friday. We are attending the Scholar Dinner on March 2 and admitted student day on March 3. Are any of you there that weekend?
do they email you when your financial aid package is ready? or do they expect you to keep checking the portal?
I was deferred at UNC and was wondering what my chances are. 35 ACT, ranked first in class of 179 at a Catholic college prep, varsity football and baseball, National Merit commended, lots of other leadership and ECs. I’m out of state. My hope is to major in Finance with an emphasis on Real Estate and International Business. I have been accepted to USC, IU Kelly, Georgetown, University of Miami, University of Florida and SMU. Waiting on several others with March dates.
anyone receive their acceptance package in the mail? Im OOS and got a letter about being selected for the carolina research scholars but I already knew that from the email. I’m just confused as to why they would send something about CRS and not the actually acceptance letter by mail.
Same situation as others. I received my honors Carolina invitation but no acceptance letter haha
@pelicanbay: From the FAQs about deferrals on the UNC-CH website, here, https://admissions.unc.edu/admissions-blog/2018/01/26/faqs-students-whose-applications-deferred-regular-decision-2/, there is this statement: “[UNC-CH] ended up offering admission to 4 percent of deferred students last year and 10 percent the previous year.”
While your test score and ECs are good, you should prepare yourself for the statistical likelihood that you will not be attending UNC-CH as a first-year student.
Acceptance packets should be arriving today and tomorrow. A few people have already received their packets on Sat

Same situation here. OOS daughter disappointed with no aid, scholarship or honors. Will be tough to choose full price UNC with better offers on the table. Waiting on all Ivies at end of March.

I got my acceptance package yesterday too yay! Go Heels 
Acceptance packet is really well done! Much better than UVA’s. We got financial aid on the portal. They have already posted the scholarship on there too.

Daughter was just invited to interview for Pharmacy assured admission. Does anyone know how many are interviewed and selected?

@breakfeastclub1234567890 I was selected for verification and I haven’t got the aid notification yet. I think they’re expected to come out in March.
Robertson scholarship semi-finalist notification started going out. we will know between now and Monday. (I called office)
