Do you know if all applicants receive a notification or only those who have been selected? It would be through email right?
@ElGuiri From looking through last year’s thread, it seems only selected applicants are contacted regarding any of the special opportunities or scholarships. Many shared their displeasure with that system. However, I am not positive if Robertson was specifically mentioned.
@ElGuiri In previous years everyone has received an email whether they’re rejected or not.
Honors Carolina, Carolina Scholar and Excel all came in email but were followed up by snail mail. My D got a lovely packet from Honors Carolina yesterday with a leather journal, pen and Honors Carolina luggage tag. Nice swag!
My D has been selected as a Pogue Scholarship finalist and invited to banquet, over night at hotel and interview in mid-march. Just wondering how many finalists actually get awarded the scholarship. Did you know?
Do all UNC Scholars Scholarships like Carolina Scholars or Colonel Robinson have to be interview too?
@UVAwahoowha Nope, once you get those you’ve got them, no interviews or supplemental materials required.

@muffduff Now that Pogue is out, all UNC-based merit has been awarded. Only Morehead Cain and Robertson are the scholarships still deciding.

Same here! I also found out I’m a Covenant Scholar!
