Yes I did like I said my number is on the common application with a green check mark
Oh and I was accepted to App State yesterday and that says in-state and so does my NCSU page

My son just logged in and says it looks different. Said it would state they were looking forward to reading the applications. Now that is gone.
Did you put your number on the common app when you submitted it? Because I’m reading it and it says if you don’t put your number right away you’d receive additional information.

@spacebunsweetie I don’t think I put it on common app. Just on unc and Nc state and the website says it is confirmed
@dkahfdfhk that must be why then because mine was submitted with my common app I never had to do anything extra
I can’t imagine they would release decisions during a school day. That could be a disaster. It would need to be after most school hours.

i’m so confused bc a friend of mine knows someone who works there and she said decisions will for sure come out today but some ppl are saying their counselors got emails saying it’ll come out next week
last year, decisions were released around 3:30 PM. I had 10 friends that applied and 6 of them got their decision but the other 4 couldn’t log in until 5 PM because the website was so overloaded. They’re definitely coming today
Would love to be UNC Admissions web developer reading this page. I’d change a color here. Wait for comments. Remove a comma there…wait for more speculation…Change the UNC to UVA to really mess with people. Decisions will be here soon!
Do you guys know if college board is the most accurate for like what UNC considers most important vs important and test scores and stuff?
here’s the thing, I asked my counselors today and they said they didn’t hear any sort of email like that. and my school has a lot of applicants to chapel hill, so i’m not sure where people aren’t getting that email to their counselors from.
@spacebunsweetie UNC publishes a common data set that tells you what they consider most/least important. However, I wouldn’t worry about it at this point. Just posting in case juniors or sophomores browse this thread - they can get some useful information instead of worrying about cosmetic changes on the website lol.
