If i haven’t received an email about Honors yet, does that mean I didn’t get it? Does it come in email or regular mail
@xviiclassofxix what was the reason for a drlay? That seems unusual! Right? Maybe it’s because they are considering a scholarship but weren’t sure.
@xviiclassofxix If there’s a delay in your admissions decision, you likely weren’t in contention for a scholarship.
@catmomof3 They said either incomplete materials or they are still reviewing application. I emailed them to figure out which, no response. They also said I’d find out Monday 1/28 at 5:00 pm at the earliest. Nothing then, nothing yesterday either. I hope it’s a good sign of something big (stats are in range for OOS), but it’s more likely they are between accepting and waitlisting me or waitlisting and denying me.
Ok thank you for the information @Pastpower. Looks like attending UNC is much less of possibility/interest now.

Thank you! I did receive an email from UNC, it’s because of holistic admissions:
"Thank you for applying for admission to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We recently learned of your audition with the Department of Music on February 2, 2019 or you are in the process of submitting a recorded audition. Given the holistic nature of our review process and your upcoming audition with the music department, your application for admission remains under review by our admissions committee.
We appreciate your patience during the delay, and hope to have a decision to you within a few business days following your audition."
I replied asking if I could have separate decisions, academically and into the music department. Fingers crossed.
Has anyone received assured admission to the media and journalism school?
I just got honors Carolina, so there are definitely multiple waves.
Also, to add on to my previous comment, do people who get honors and X other program get notified in the same email, or do you get two or three notification emails?
Anyone know if we get a admissions packet in the snail mail too and if so when?

@ramen01 if you don’t get in to honors now you can always apply again after your first semester, provided that you have stellar grades, etc.
Got into Honors, received the email about 6 hours ago. Now for some research to see what it’s all about.
Anyone know if Granville Towers Housing is popular for first year students? Is it more expensive than Carolina Housing?

Also, @Mcunn226 , where would one get hints from? I personally did not know until they posted the decisions. Same for the Honors, no hints until I got my email.
